A law firm based in Chicago, Illinois. Their previous website was made - and not updated since - sometime in 1997. It also unfortunately resembled someone's first attempt at creating a web page, rather than a pleasing design more fitting of a business. Needless to say, it wasn't too hard to improve upon this. The first thing that came to mind when thinking of a law firm was a courthouse. More specifically, a large, stone courthouse, with massive columns along the front. Conveniently, that seemed to be what they had in mind as well, so this one only got one major revision before hitting the web.
Fun junk reserved for personal web pages like a badly-compressed Photo Gallery and wildly out-of-place Guestbook were graciously not carried over to the new site. Below is the original design before proper shadows and highlights were added, along with an alternate color scheme, which ended up being put aside in favor of the blue and gray.
