A somewhat questionable 'hero', Pierre talks big, but fails to back up his status when it comes time for battle, at least at first. While weak initially, he can become a powerful fighter later on, provided he's equipped with the 'Hero' equipment: The Hero's Medal, Hero's Shield and Hero's Blade. Makes one wonder if Pierre is somehow related to Tata from Chrono Trigger.

Recruitment
One of three characters you'll meet early on that can guide you to Viper Manor (the others being Guile and Nikki; note you can only get one of the 3 in each play-through of the game). You'll first meet Pierre in the back room of the Smithy's building. Talk to him, and then proceed out the back door. Talk to the boy running around to get the Hero's Medal. Return the medal to Pierre, talk to him again, and he'll join your party.
