Speaking in an Australian-like accent, Serge meets up with the mysterious Kid fairly early in the game. She's a tough girl, despite her claims of being 'cute and helpless'. She has a serious grudge against Lynx, though it's unclear why exactly. Because of this, she wants to help Serge break into Viper Manor, where Lynx has recently taken up residence. She is also one of only three characters in the game that can steal items in battle. Recruitment Kid will offer to help you when you first meet her, and twice later on (in Termina, and Viper Manor) if you refuse her. Eventually, she'll join up no matter what, but keep in mind to get Leena to join, you must refuse Kid's first offer.

* Late in the game in the orphanage, go to the machine in the first room, check it, and input the password 'LARA', or L1, triangle, R1, triangle. (That password made a lot more sense in Chrono Trigger, no?)
